Deputy Prime Minister of the Republic of Serbia and Minister of Trade, Tourism and Telecommunications Rasim Ljajić, Minister of Agriculture and Environmental Protection Branislav Nedimović, and president of the Chamber of Commerce of Serbia Marko Čadež have met today with the extraordinary Commissioner for “Agrokor” Ante Ramljak, and talked about the topics regarding the business of the mentioned concern in our country.
On that occasion Mr Ante Ramljak has presented to Minister Ljajić and Nedimović the plans and dynamics of restructuring of “Agrokor” with a special overview of the companies from this system operating in Serbia.
Ministers Ljajić and Nedimović have informed Mr Ramljak on the activities of the Government of the Republic of Serbia with the aim to maintain the stability of business of “Agrokor” companies in our country, preservation of jobs and protection of interests of suppliers.
Mr Ante Ramljak has stressed that we are starting with the normalisation of business of “Agrokor” companies in the entire region, and that suppliers in Serbia can still expect a regular payment for delivered goods.
He has added that production companies in Serbia, “Dijamant” and “Frikom” are fully ready for the next harvest.
It has been agreed to continue with the inter-coordination with the aim to monitor the situation regarding the operations of the concern “Agrokor” and its parts operating in Serbia.
The meeting was participated by the Ambassador of the Republic of Croatia to Serbia Gordan Markotić, director of “Merkator S” Aleksandar Seratić, director of oil factory “Dijamant” Vladimir Milović and director of the company “Frikom” Gojko Đošić.
