Training on e-commerce held in Niš

Head of the Department for Trade and Competition Development in the Ministry of Trade, Tourism and Telecommunications Željko Rakić said in Niš, at the presentation within the 2012 IPA project “Developing e-business”, that people who work in e-commerce have the obligation to replace a product to an unsatisfied customer without stating a reason within 14 days since it is a distance selling.

He pointed out to the representatives of small and medium-sized enterprises dealing with commerce that in e-commerce there are no fiscal receipts except in cases when excise goods are in question.

Mr Rakić has explained that in e-commerce, all principles should apply as in a regular commerce which means that the price and product declaration must be visible.

It is one of many autumn workshops to be held in the Republic of Serbia, and they are intended for the tradespeople who want to get involved in the world of the internet business and e-commerce, but also for those who want to upgrade their knowledge.

The following workshops are scheduled for Thursday, October 20, at the Open University in Subotica, on Tuesday, October 25 in the Regional Development Agency in Užice, on Wednesday, October 26, in Kragujevac and on Saturday, November 3, in Belgrade.

2012 IPA project “Developing e-business” is funded by the European Union with the aim to increase economical competition in the Republic of Serbia by strengthening the private sector, with a special emphasis on small and medium-sized enterprises.

Project beneficiaries and main partners are the Ministry of Trade, Tourism and Telecommunications and the Ministry of Economy of the Republic of Serbia.
