Deputy Prime Minister of Serbian Government and Minister of Trade, Tourism and Telecommunications Rasim Ljajić has met today the Minister of State of India Mr Jitendra Singh, and talked about the improvement of the total economic relations of the two countries, in particular the strengthening of the cooperation in the field of information and communication technologies and tourism.
A bilateral Agreement on Cooperation in the field of information technologies and electronics was signed, which aim is to establish the institutional relation between the two counties in the mentioned sector, and to encourage the business entities and IT companies from Serbia and India to work together.
The Agreements also envisages the beginning of the cooperation in scientific research in the field of information and communication technologies, realisation of joint projects and organisation of technical exhibitions, fairs and exchange of expert visits.
Mr Ljajić and Mister Singh have agreed that there is a huge space for the improvement of the tourism exchange of the two countries, and the more active cooperation has been agreed between the national tourism organisations in order to organise promotions of both markets and establish stronger relations between tour operators from Serbia and India.
