State Secretary at the Ministry of Trade, Tourism and Telecommunications Lukrecija Đeri met in Belgrade with the Secretary General of the Organization of the Black Sea Economic Cooperation (BSEC) Victor Tvircun and the Executive Director of the Permanent International Secretariat in Istanbul Bratislav Đorđević.
State Secretary Đeri stressed the importance of regional cooperation between Serbia and the member states of the Organization of the Black Sea Economic Cooperation, as well as the deepening and promoting of bilateral relations between the member states, the acceleration of the European integration process in the region and creating conditions for economic growth and improving living standards.
Secretary General of the Organization of the Black Sea Economic Cooperation Tvircun said that the BSEC is working on promoting all its member states in the region, especially supporting participation on an expert level, and expressed hope that Serbia will strengthen its participation in the meetings of the Working Group on Tourism.
He pointed out that a Memorandum of Understanding with the UNWTO is prepared and will be signed at the Ministerial Meeting in October of 2014, in Athens and invited the representatives of Serbia to participate in the meeting.
