Summit on Market Surveillance – “Market Surveillance in Serbia – the Benefits and Challenges of the New System in the Field of Non-Food Products”

The State Secretary in the Ministry of Foreign and Internal Trade and Telecommunications Таtјаnа Маtić will open the annual Summit on Market Surveillance – “Market Surveillance in Serbia – the Benefits and Challenges of the New System in the Field of Non-Food Products”, which will be held on September 24, 2013, at 9 a.m. at Hotel Moskva (Balkanska Hall), Belgrade, Balkanska 1.

The Summit is organized by the Ministry of Foreign and Internal Trade and Telecommunications and the EU project “Strengthening of the Serbian System of Market Surveillance for Non-Food and Food Products – MSS”. The Summit will provide the representatives of the business community and consumer organizations with the opportunity to learn from the representatives of the Ministry and the EU about the new system of market surveillance which will be introduced in Serbia in accordance with EU regulations.

In addition to the representatives of the EU, the Chief Market Inspector, and Assistant Minister at the Ministry of Foreign and Internal Trade and Telecommunications Lidiја Stојаnоvić, will also speak at the Summit.
