Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Trade, Tourism and Telecommunications Rasim Ljajić had two separate meetings with the Ambassadors of Iran and Tunisia, Majid Fahim Pour and Majid Hamlaoui where they discussed improving the overall economic relations between Serbia and the two countries, primarily in the areas of agriculture, construction and tourism.
They agreed that there is great room for increasing trade between Serbia and these countries, and that there are many economic areas in which it is possible to improve cooperation.
Ljajić particularly emphasized agriculture and the food industry, given the quality of the offer of Serbian producers in these sectors.
The Serbian Deputy Prime Minister pointed out that there is a potential for strengthening cooperation in the fields of civil engineering and infrastructure, taking into account the good references that our construction companies have in Tunisia and Iran.
Ljajić also discussed with the Ambassadors the possibilities for improving cooperation in the field of tourism.
