IT Caravan 02 is bringing to an end this year’s trip around Serbia. In the primary school “Miroslav Mika Antić” in Pančevo, a presentation was given to pupils on protection from online bullying and other forms of abuse of new technologies.

Pupils have learnt about the advantages of use of new technologies within the workshop on programming robots, and the principal of the school Dragana Kostić was given a set of robots to be used in teaching.

The campaign for smart and safe use of new technologies “IT Caravan” was realised from April 12 in Novi Pazar, Pirot, Niš, Zaječar, Kraljevo, Užice, Čačak, Valjevo, Kragujevac, Subotica, Novi Sad. The last station will be Sombor on May 25.

With the school presentations the campaign is also realised at city squares at the same time, where it promotes programmes for development of the information society and corries out a survey among the citizens on how well they are informed about online safety.

Partners of the Ministry of Trade, Tourism and Telecommunications on the project are Ministry of Education, Science and Technological Development, Ministry of Interior, Organisation “Save the Children” for North-West Balkans and Microsoft company.
