Deputy Prime Minister Ljajić noted that attracting Turkish tourists will be one of the priorities in the Tourist Organization of Serbia’s approach to foreign markets, considering the fact that the number of guest arrivals from Turkey to our country is constantly increasing, with numbers 40 percent higher during last year than in 2014.

Ambassador Bozay said the Government of Turkey will support this type of promotional campaign and finance the preparation of materials, brochures and publications on the tourist potential of Serbia in the Turkish language, to be made available to citizens across the country.

Bozay also announced the readiness of Turkish faculties in the field of tourism to receive hoteliers, caterers and tourist workers from our country for professional development and specialized training. These forms of professional development would also be financed by the government of Turkey, intended for improving the level of services provided by the tourism sector in Serbia.

During the meeting Ambassador Bozay communicated that there is increasing investor interest in Turkey in building hotel and other catering capacities in Serbia.
