Assistant Minister for Information Society Sava Savić attended the Bizit 2015 Conference, held at the Deputies’ Club and organized for the second time by Serbian ICT media company PC Press.

Sava Savić said that the development of information society is comprised of the overall changes in all aspects of society, made possible by the use of ICT, and these represent a necessary prerequisite for the economic development of society as a whole.

The conference, entitled Bizit, is held on 3 and 4 November, aiming to raise the awareness of professionals on the importance of the application of modern information technologies in doing business and their increasing influence on achieving good business results.

The conference organizers note that one of the key goals of Bizit is education, and the visitors of the conference will gain clearer information on which business solution could help them in running their business and achieving their planned business goals, as well as the best way to implement this solution.

Savić emphasized that the vision of the Ministry is for the development of ICT to cause sustainable economic growth and the development of an environment in the Republic of Serbia wherein very innovative enterprises will be doing business with users who are well versed in the market and technologies and who recognize the advantages and practical utility of using ICT in electronic business, with the support and participation of a modern public sector.

The first day of Bizit is dedicated to business solutions and their application, and some of the questions answered for the visitors during the first day of the conference were how to select an optimum business solution, how to finance it and what the benefits of its use are for the company.

The second day will be dedicated to news in the field of telecommunications, communications and services, from both the local, as well as the global market.
