The Fourth Regional Youth Tourism Fair was opened

Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Trade, Tourism and Telecommunications attended the opening ceremony of the Fourth Regional Youth Tourism Fair in Novi Sad, the city which entered the final selection rounds for the 2018 European Youth Capital.

Ljajić said that he does not know whether Novi Sad will get the title of the 2018 European Youth Capital in November as it is in competition with four other European cities, but that he certainly knows that in the next ten days Novi Sad will be the Serbian capital of tourism.

“The Regional Youth Tourism Fair is very important and contributes greatly to the promotion of the tourist offer of Serbia, and other countries in the region,” said Ljajić.

Mayor of the City of Novi Sad Mr. Miloš Vučević said that Novi Sad will justify its candidacy for the European Youth Capital by hosting tens of thousands of guests within the days to follow.

The manager of the EXIT Team Mr. Dušan Kovačević said that the EXIT festival brought together tolerant young people from across the region who are seeking to promote the potentials of this region. “As a result of this desire, the idea of the Youth Fair was born, aimed at making our region a world leader in the field of youth tourism,” said Kovačević.
