Pindžo: “My Serbia” campaign for improving domestic tourism traffic

Assistant Minister for tourism Renata Pindžo announced the beginning of the campaign promoting Serbia’s tourist offer entitled “My Serbia”.

Speaking for the RTS “Dnevnik”, Pindžo said that the campaign is very important and that the Government of Serbia has recognized tourism as its development opportunity.

“Following the example of other countries, especially neighboring countries, the Government is preparing programs, and one of them includes incentives to encourage the local population to spend their holidays (or at least part of their holidays) in Serbia. A voucher scheme is being prepared for interested citizens of certain categories who will be able to use these vouchers to pay for accommodation during their holiday,” said Pindžo.

She urged companies to have understanding for the measures of the Serbian Government, and to contribute to the development of the domestic market as it will enable the same program to be realized in the coming years.

The aim of the campaign is for everything spent in Serbia to be returned to Serbia and its budget users.
