Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Trade, Tourism and Telecommunications Rasim Ljajić said yesterday that so far almost 9 thousand people applied for the vouchers for subsidized holidays in Serbia, mostly from Belgrade, Novi Sad, Niš and Kragujevac.
“More exactly, 8.975 people applied, 60 percent of which are pensioners. Currently, the applications are for September. Most people are interested in Serbian spas, Zlatibor, Tara, Kopaonik. Both citizens and hoteliers are satisfied. Now we can freely say that this pilot project is a success and that we will continue it next year” said Ljajić.
Vouchers for subsidized holidays in Serbia providing a discount of 5000 RSD are valid from August 1 until the end of November this year. Pensioners, the unemployed and people with incomes up to 60 thousand RSD are eligible for applying for the vouchers.
