Serbian Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign and Internal Trade and Telecommunications Rasim Ljajic met today in Istanbul, in separate meetings with the General Manager at “Douse holding” Ferit Sahenk and Executive Director at “Sabanci group” Cataj Ezdogru. Ljajic and directors of the two companies, which are among the largest in Turkey, have discussed possibilities for expanding their business on the Serbian market.
During separate meetings with Deputy Prime Minister Rasim Ljajic, directors Sahenk and Ezdogru, have shown interest in investing in the energy sector, transport infrastructure and telecommunications, as well as in the construction of residential buildings, shopping centres and hotels.
Representatives of the “Dawes Holding” and “Sabanci group” have expressed their interest in participating in the privatization process of “Telekom Serbia”.
At the meetings it was agreed that during the next week professional teams from these two Turkish companies will visit Serbia, where we will present them projects in areas where they are willing to invest as well as available locations for construction of shopping malls and hotels.
