TIKA has invested €20 million in projects in Serbia

Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Trade, Tourism and Telecommunications Rasim Ljajić has met early today with the director of the Turkish Development Agency (TIKA) for the Balkans Mahmut Cevik, with whom he talked about the future TIKA projects in Serbia.

On that occasion, Mr Mahmut Cevik has pointed out that the Turkish Development Agency has invested €20 million in projects of assistance to Serbia, adding that in the next year TIKA plans to finance the reconstruction of the Ram Fortress, part of the Kalemegdan Fortress as well as other projects for reconstruction of schools, scientific institutions and health care facility in our country.

Deputy Prime Minister Rasim ljajić has thanked to the Turkish Development Agency for the realised projects in Serbia, including certain facilities of tourism infrastructure.

Mr Ljajić has expressed his expectations that TIKA will support the promotion of the Serbian tourist offer on the Turkish market in the next period.
