State Secretary at the Ministry of Foreign and Internal Trade and Telecommunications of the Republic of Serbia Stevan Nikčević and Secretary of State in the Ministry of Economy of the Republic of Romania Mihai Adrian Albulesku signed a Protocol on cooperation after the Session of Mixed intergovernmental Committee for economic cooperation between Serbia and Romania.
Nikčević after the signing of the Protocol, at the Palace of Serbia in Belgrade, said the possibility of cooperation in the energy sector, in the construction of the Pan-European oil corridor, the pipeline between Pancevo and Constance and the construction of a pipeline between the two countries, and adding that he discussed the strengthening of river transport and projects improvement of river container transport to the Romanian port of Constanta.
He said that cooperation is possible in the area of investment and joint performance in the countries with which Serbia has a free trade agreement.
Romania is one of the most important trade partners of Serbia, fourth in total trade that Serbia cooperates with the world and third in the European Union, said Nikčević, who along with Albuleskuom co-chairman of Mixed intergovernmental Committee for economic cooperation between Serbia and Romania.
