The Ministry of Trade, Tourism and Telecommunications, initiated an arrangement with the telecommunications operators by which users in the affected areas are exempt from being cut off for failure to settle debts, bearing in mind that the people in these areas suffered extensive damage due to the flooding. Telekom Serbia, Telenor and VIP Mobile showed understanding for the citizens from the most badly affected municipalities, and other flooded areas, and responded positively to the initiative of the Ministry.

According to information received from the crisis staff of the Government, the municipalities most badly affected by the floods are Loznica, Valjevo, Ljig, Lajkovac, Gornji Milanovac, Lučani, Ub, Mionica, Osečinina, Mali Zvornik, Obrenovac, Koceljevo and Grocka.
