The Joint Committee for economic cooperation between Serbia and the Czech Republic convened in Prague

State Secretary at the Ministry of Foreign and Internal Trade and Telecommunications Stevan Nikčević and Deputy Minister of Industry and Trade of the Czech Republic Milan Hovorka signed the Protocol at the Plenary Session of the 7th meeting of the Joint Committee for economic cooperation between the Republic of Serbia and the Czech Republic, which took place on December 11 and 12 in Prague.

The Chairman of the Serbian delegation Stevan Nikčević positively assessed the continued growth in the volume of foreign trade, with the significant increase in exports from Serbia by 87.2% and the decrease of the deficit from 127 to 53 million euros in the first nine months of this year.

At the plenary session, the participants were addressed by the Minister of Construction and Urbanism Velimir Ilić, who informed them about the agreements reached with the representatives of the Czech economy, and expressed assurance that bilateral economic cooperation will extend to the construction industry in the future.

It was noted that the realization of the initiated projects in the field of transport and energy, as well as establishing long-term forms of economic cooperation between the two countries is a joint task.
