State Secretary for Tourism at the Ministry of Trade, Tourism and Telecommunications Lukrecija Đeri met with the representatives of the Italian agency Delta 2000, Aldin Cavallir and Giancarlo Malacarne, with whom she discussed the possibilities of cooperation on the cross-border project Adriatico lonico.

The representatives of the agency Delta 2000 said that the plan is to include 8 countries (Italy, Greece, Slovenia, Croatia, Serbia, Bosnia and Hercegovina, Montenegro and Albania) in the development project of sustainable and slow tourism.

State Secretary Đeri concluded that it is essential to continue the work that has been started within the Adriatico lonico Program in order to reduce the effects of seasonality on the tourism in Serbia through the development of complementary offers, cultural tourism and themed routes.
