Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Trade, Tourism and Telecommunications Rasim Ljajić and Governor of Chinese province Shaanxi Hu Heping opened today a business conference “Serbia-China, investment, trade and tourism”, held on the second day of the International Fair “Silk Road 2017” in Xi’an, in China.

The mentioned business forum has gathered more than 100 entrepreneurs from the province Shaanxi and 20 companies from Serbia, mostly in the field of agriculture, food industry and tourism.

Main topics of the business conference were the improvement of bilateral trade cooperation and discussion of possibilities for attracting a large number of Chinese tourists to Serbia.

It was stressed at the conference that thanks to the well-designed campaign for promotion of tourism on the Chinese market, Serbia has marked an increase by 260 per cent in the first four months this year, when it comes to arrival of Chinese tourists.

It has been agreed also to have a business forum for entrepreneurs from province Shaanxi in Kragujevac, which is a brother city to the city of Xi’an.
