Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Trade, Tourism and Telecommunications Rasim Ljajić met today with the Ambassador of Israel in Serbia Yossef Levy, discussing the cooperation of the two countries in the field of tourism.
Deputy Prime Minister Ljajić informed Ambassador Levy on the potential for the development of spa tourism in our country and invited investors from Israel to participate in the process of privatization of the hotel-tourist capacities in spas in Serbia.
Ljajić and Levy concluded that an agreement should be signed between Serbia and Israel on cooperation in the field of tourism in order to further improve the tourist exchange.
Such an agreement, assessed Ljajić, would additionally stimulate the tourism economies of the two countries to intensify cooperation and create the conditions for increasing the number of Israeli tourists in Serbia.
