Minister of Foreign and Internal Trade and Telecommunications Rasim Ljajic said today that Belgrade and Pristine have made progress in the area of telecommunications, however, still an open question about phone number.
“There is progress, and literally all of the difference came down to one word, we believe that the word ‘unique’, and refers to the number, there is no need to stand in the text of the agreement,” said Ljajic to Tanjug.
That word, as he says, is redundant and in the future may be a limit to telecommunication operators in reaching mutual agreement.
“The difference is only in that, everything else is more or less agreed, and we have an agreement, if that word comes out of the text,” Ljajic said.
Prime Minister of Kosovo Hashim Thaci said today at the meeting of the government that the issues of energy and telecommunications, as far as Kosovo and the EU closed, and now waiting for Serbia to August 8th to accept the agreements in these two areas.
As announced by the Government of Kosovo, Thaci said at the meeting that at the last meeting in Brussels progress on the organization of local elections on November 3rd .
