Minister of Trade, Tourism and Telecommunications Rasim Ljajić said for RTS that digitalization will not be delayed a day and that all vulnerable citizen groups will get vouchers for purchasing set-top-boxes.

“The most important thing is that digitalization will not be delayed a single day. So, we will fully respect June 17 as the deadline for the completion of the digitalization process,” said Rasim Ljajić.

He added that it is very important that all citizens who cannot afford to buy set-top boxes will get them for free, this time through vouchers.

“Until yesterday, we registered 137,384 citizens who are entitled to free vouchers for purchasing set-top-boxes,” said Rasim Ljajić, adding that the deadline for application is March 31 of the current year, and that he believes that about 150,000 vouchers will be allocated to those who are eligible and entitled to receive a free set-top-box.
