Fifteen charter flights with tourists from Tehran are arriving

Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Trade, Tourism and Telecommunications Rasim Ljajić has met early today with the Ambassador of Iran to Serbia Hossein Abdullahi and the two have discussed the improvement of the total economic relations of the two countries, and the cooperation in the field of tourism.

Ambassador Hossein Abdullahi has expressed his pleasure with the fact that an increasing number of Iranian tourists are coming to Serbia, and announced that by the end of this summer 15 touristic charter flights from Tehran to Belgrade will be realised.

Deputy Prime Minister Ljajić and Ambassador Abdullahi have agreed that a significant step for improving the touristic cooperation would be the visa-free regime, and introduction of regular flights between Serbia and Iran.

They have agreed in the meeting that the session of the Joint Committee for economic cooperation of the two countries should be I Belgrade in the second half of October this year, when a business forum will take place, as well as a meeting with the most important tour operators of Serbia and Iran.
