State Secretary in the Ministry of Trade, Tourism and Telecommunications, Tatjana Matić, has said today that the cooperation with the economic sector and IT community is of vital importance for the creation of adequate regulatory framework for encouraging IT industry.

In the meeting about the creation of the Strategy of Development of Industry of Information Technologies, attended by the representatives of IT cluster from Belgrade, Kragujevac and Novi Sad, State Secretary Tatjana Matić has invited the participants to give their contribution with proposals and suggestions to the text of the Draft Strategy prepared by the Ministry of Trade, Tourism and Telecommunications, in cooperation with the Serbian Chamber of Commerce.

The representatives of clusters greeted the intention of the government to support IT entrepreneurship through the fiscal assistance with start-ups, tax and export incentives, staff development and support to technological ecosystems and presented constructive suggestions for additional improvement of the Draft Strategy.
