Assistant Minister for electronic communications and postal services in the Ministry of Trade, Tourism, and Telecommunications Irini Reljin, has congratulated to the team of young physicists chosen to present our country in the “International Scientific Junior Olympics” in the Netherlands from 3 to 12 December.
On this occasion, she gave the winners of the Serbian Physics Olympics for primary school pupils, held in May in Belgrade, organised by the Association of Physicists of Serbia, with the support of the Ministry of Trade, Tourism, and Telecommunications.
At the ceremonial reception of young physicists at the Faculty of Physics, Ms Reljin has stressed that for the line Ministry support and promotion of science, technologies, engineering and mathematics is a priority not only for encouraging the young individuals, but to raise the younger generations to the global competitive level.
The junior team of physicists for the international competition was chosen based on the achieved individual results in the Election Contest in Serbian Physics Olympics.
In the ceremony at the Faculty of Physics, awards were given to the best physicists in the International Olympics for secondary school pupils.
