Agreement on cooperation in the field of tourism soon between Serbia and Albania

Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Trade, Tourism, and Telecommunications Rasim Ljajić has met today with the Minister of Tourism of Albania Blandi Closi, and the two talked about further steps for improving the cooperation of the two counties in tourism.

In the meeting the two ministers agreed that in the foreseeable future they will sign the cooperation agreement in tourism between Serbia and Albania, which will be the basis for strengthening the bilateral relations in this sector, but also for the joint presentation on third markets.

Mr Ljajić and Mr Closi have agreed that the two countries, and the entire region of the West Balkans, must work on creating a joint touristic product, aiming at attracting guests from distant markets, primarily China, India and Iran.

With that respect, in May this year in Tirana, there will be a regional meeting of the ministers in charge of tourism, to define the joint presentation for tourists coming from distant markets.
