Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign and Internal Trade and Telecommunications Rasim Ljajic said today in Brussels that Belgrade and Pristina are very close to an agreement on telecommunications.
Ljajic said after meeting with Director of the Directorate General for Enlargement in the European Commission Pierre Mirel that Kosovo will receive an international dial code, and that an acceptable modality, to be applied until 2015, will be worked out in the next three months.
Telekom Srbija should get licence to operate in Kosovo over the existing base stations, the Deputy Prime Minister explained.
Ljajic stressed that Mirel had a constructive role in achieving an applicable compromise.
