Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign and Internal Trade and Telecommunications Rasim Ljajić signed a Cooperation Agreement in the field of ICT with the Deputy Prime Minister of Montenegro and the Minister of Information Society and Telecommunications Vujica Lazović and the Minister of Information Society in Macedonia Ivo Ivanovski, in Budva, today.
Upon signing the Agreement, the Deputy Prime Minister of Serbia Rasim Ljajić told reporters that this trilateral intergovernmental agreement will not only improve the regional cooperation in the field of ICT but will enable the joint participation of the signing countries in third markets. Ljajić added that the Agreement aims to promote exchange of experiences and knowledge in this field which will ease the fulfillment of the obligations of Serbia, Montenegro and Macedonia in the negotiation process for EU membership.
The Cooperation Agreement in the field of ICT between the three countries paves the way for the Serbian leading IT companies in that field for a wider access to the markets of Macedonia and Montenegro.
