The Market Inspectorate of the Ministry of Trade, Tourism and Telecommunications, in cooperation with the Police Department of Šabac which conducted a regular control of the presence of markers in petroleum products, which are in circulation in the territory of the Republic of Serbia, confiscated 30,000 liters of diesel derivatives.

The derivative found in the reservoir of a retail outlet did not contain the prescribed marker, nor did it have a procurement document and the results of laboratory analyzes do not meet the prescribed characteristics.

The use of such derivatives negatively affects the environment and damages the engine.

By selling this product without paying the excise tax creates a loss of 1,380,000 RSD in the budget of the Republic of Serbia.
