State Secretary in the Ministry of Trade, Tourism, and Telecommunications and President of the Coordination Body for Information Safety Activities of the Government of the Republic of Serbia Tatjana Matić, participated in the Day of High Guests on the military exercise Cyber Tesla 2017.

On this occasion she said that strengthening of the cyber protection is significant for the entire national safety. “Improving the fight against cybercrime, for which the crucial thing is prevention, is ensured by establishing the legal framework for this field in the Law on Information Safety. Special protective measures are defined by the bylaws, as stated in the adopted Strategy of Information Safety Development”, State Secretary has reminded.

The military exercise was held in the barrack of “Vojvoda Radomir Putnik”, in Gornji Milanovac, with the participation of the Minister of Defence Aleksandar Vulin, and high officials.

Multinational command-headquarter exercise “Cyber Tesla” is realised within the Programme of state partnership between Serbia and Ohio, with the aim to raise the capabilities of Serbian Armed Forces to react to cyber threats.
