“It is likely that Saudi Arabia will finance one of the joint infrastructure projects of Serbia and Bosnia and Herzegovina”, as stated early today in Riyadh by Deputy Prime Minister of Serbia and Minister of Trade, Tourism and Telecommunications Rasim Ljajić, after the meeting with Saudi King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud.
“The final part of the visit to Saudi Arabia was marked by meeting the King Salman, with whom we discussed the possibility that Saudi Arabia could finance a joint infrastructure project of Serbia and Bosnia and Herzegovina. It is up to use to agree about the project itself and then apply at the Saudi Development Fund, where it is very likely to get funds for the realisation of that project”; Mr Ljajić has said, accompanied by the Minister of Foreign Trade and Economic Affairs of Bosnia and Herzegovina.
Mr Ljajić has added that Serbia’s objective is to increase the number of investors from Saudi Arabia to invest in our country, and that in line with that a business forum has been held today, gathering more than 30 companies from the three countries.
“We also want more tourists from Saudi Arabia and soon we are going to organise a big meeting in Riyadh with the biggest travel agencies and tour operators”, concluded Mr Ljajić, who, during his two-day visit to Saudi Arabia has met with Prince Sultan bin Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, and the ministers of commerce, investment, agriculture and construction of Saudi Arabia.
