Ministry of Trade, Tourism and Telecommunications and Serbian Chamber of Commerce have awarded recognition to the most successful brands at the closing ceremony of “The Best from Serbia 2016” tonight in Novi Sad.
Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Trade, Tourism and Telecommunications Rasim Ljajić has said at the ceremony of awarding recognitions in the Master Centre of the Novi Sad Fair that those companies are the core of the new Serbian business elite.
“In spite of the financial crisis and great difficulties you’ve succeeded to use your knowledge and skills, and creative ideas to solve the issues and make a substantial result, which is not only a result of the companies but also a result of Serbian economy”, Mr Ljajić has stated.
He has emphasised that a successful brand means the best promotion of Serbia and Serbian economy, adding that we have to work on national branding.
The awarding ceremony was attended by the president of Serbian Chamber of Commerce Marko Čadež, Minister of Economy Goran Knežević, Prime Minister of Vojvodina Igor Mirović and the Mayor of Novi Sad Miloš Vučević.
The recognitions have been awarded for 25 categories, including three new categories: the most successful introduction of start-up enterprises, the best touristic and economic event for promotion of Serbia, and the jury award.
