State Secretary in the Ministry of Trade, Tourism and Telecommunications Tatjana Matić and the founder of the “Tijana Jurić” Foundation, Igor Jurić, have signed the Agreement on mutual cooperation in online safety and protection of children.

“Tijana Jurić” Foundation is a significant partner in our programmes aimed at education and prevention, since they are greatly trusted by our citizens, especially children who are our primary target group”, State Secretary Tatjana Matić has said.

She has said that the communication with the Foundation established through the National Contact Centre for Online Safety of Children, initiated by the Ministry on February 27, has already achieved results, since certain cases forwarded to the Centre by the Foundation, have been sent to the Public Prosecutor’s Office.

The founder of the “Tijana Jurić” Foundation has stressed that the institutional support to projects realised by that Foundations significantly contributes to their efficiency, which is the key thing in the joint activity in the field of online safety of children.

Agreement defining the mutual cooperation between the “Tijana Jurić” Foundation and the Ministry of Trade, Tourism and Telecommunications of the Republic of Serbia, with the aim of more efficient action for improving the conditions for safety of children and prevention of violence against children and among children on the Internet, also covers promotional campaigns of online safety of children, prevention of violence against children and among children on the Internet, as well as the educational lectures and discussions in primary and secondary schools.
