Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Trade, Tourism and Telecommunications Rasim Ljajić has met today with the Ambassador of China Lee Manchang, and the two talked about the steps to be taken for increasing the number of Chinese tourists in Serbia.
Ambassador Lee Manchang has expressed his expectations that direct flights will be introduced this year between the two countries, which along with the visa-free regime for Chinese citizens is the most significant step in the direction of a significant increase of the number of Chinese tourists in Serbia.
Mr Manchang has said that Serbia will be visited by a team of the Chinese national television soon, to shoot a series on touristic potentials of our countries and broadcast that material in their program.
Deputy Prime Minister and Ambassador Lee Manchang have agreed to organise a meeting with the line ministries from Montenegro, Bosnia and Herzegovina and Macedonia in Belgrade, with the topic of joint presentation of the countries of the region on the tourism market of China.
