Serbian Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Trade, Tourism and Telecommunications Rasim Ljajić was elected yesterday in Sarajevo as the best minister of Southeast and Central Europe, in the election of the Association of Managers of Bosnia and Herzegovina and Southeast Europe.
The award was presented to Minister Ljajić by the High Representative of the international community in Bosnia and Herzegovina Valentin Inzko.
Having received the award, Ljajić said that it was a special honor to be elected as the best minister a year after the same award was given to Minister of Foreign Trade and Economic Relations Mirko Šarović, considering their common commitment to the full normalization of relations in the region.
“Politicians rarely have the opportunity to receive awards and to have their work in politics appraised in this manner,” said Ljajić.
In addition to Ljajić, awards for results in economy were also given to some companies in Serbia, such as “Nikola Tesla” Airport, Copper Mill “Sevojno” and “Yumis” from Niš.
