Saudi Prince to Visit Serbia between 3 and 5 November

The Prince of Saudi Arabia Sultan bin Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, the son of Saudi King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, will pay an official visit to our country between 3 and 5 November 2015, at the invitation of Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Trade, Tourism and Telecommunications Rasim Ljajić.

The arrival of Prince Sultan bin Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud is the first official visit by a Saudi statesman to the Republic of Serbia since the establishment of diplomatic relations between the two countries, and the first visit by an official from Saudi Arabia to our country since 1989, when the Saudi Minister of Foreign Affairs Saud Al Faisal participated in the Non-Aligned Movement Summit in Belgrade.

During his official visit to our country, Prince Sultan bin Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, who is also the president of the Saudi Commission for Tourism and National Heritage, will sign a Memorandum of Cooperation in the field of tourism with Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Trade, Tourism and Telecommunications Rasim Ljajić, representing the first ever bilateral agreement between these two countries.

During his stay in Serbia, Prince Sultan bin Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud will also meet Serbian Prime Minister Aleksandar Vučić and the President of the Republic of Serbia Tomislav Nikolić.

In addition to meetings at the highest level of state, the Saudi Prince will also visit the most important cultural-historic monuments of the City of Belgrade, at his personal request.
