Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Trade, Tourism and Telecommunications Rasim Ljajić met today in Geneva with Secretary General of the International Telecommunication Union (ITU) Houlin Zhao. Ljajić and Zhao discussed the implementation of the agreement reached in Brussels between representatives of Belgrade and Priština that refers to telecommunications.
Ljajić said that the Government of the Republic of Serbia will respect and implement all that was agreed and signed in Brussels, and that the same is expected from the Priština side.
He also pointed out that the agreement reached in the field of telecommunications is in accordance with the statute and principles of the ITU.
Zhao stressed that Serbia, as a member of the ITU, is an essential factor in this process and that the ITU will fully contribute to the implementation of the agreement from Brussels.
