Our exporters have a great opportunity to sell their goods on the Russian market, but it solely depends on their speed and efficiency, and the state will provide them with logistical support, said Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Trade, Tourism and Telecommunications Rasim Ljajić.
“We are flooded with requests from Russian companies, which demand fruit, vegetables, meat and meat products from Serbia. Unfortunately, we do not have sufficient capacities to respond to the enormous needs of the Russian market of 200 million people, but I am certain that what we have exported so far does not reflect the actual capacities and possibilities that we have”, said Ljajić.
The Minister of Trade pointed out that there is a possibility for increasing exports from 10 to 30 percent depending on the product, which would increase the total foreign trade with the Russian Federation.
