Shops that increase food prices will be shut down

Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Trade, Tourism and Telecommunications Rasim Ljajić stated today that the market is well-supplied with basic foodstuffs and that commodity reserves can make an intervention at any moment if necessary.

Ljajić said that six shops were shut down yesterday for unjustified hike in prices, and added that the inspection service will continue to intervene in every reported case.

The commodity reserves will also intervene in case of oil, construction material and medicines if necessary and upon request.

The commodity reserves have a sufficient amount of foodstuffs and household supplies, Ljajić highlighted.
