<\/p>\nState Secretary in the Ministry of Trade, Tourism, and Telecommunications Tatjana Mati\u0107 has said at the ceremonial opening of the programme IT Caravan 03 in Ni\u0161, that digitalisation is an opportunity for all the youth to fully realise their potentials but that it is necessary to protect their privacy when using new technologies. <\/p>\n
She has expressed a particular pleasure for having the IT Caravan in Ni\u0161 again, which was also visited last year, since this is the city of the technological centre of Serbia and the nursery of talented young people in the IT sector. <\/p>\n
\u201cIn all cities and towns in Serbia there are your peers who not only have the tendency to work with coding and technology, but have also other talents which can be expressed in the digital environment. This is why I would like to use this opportunity to greet all of you, all primary school pupils watching us via the live online, through our digital platform \u201cSmart and Safe\u201d, says Ms Mati\u0107.<\/p>\n

State Secretary has thanked to the partners of the campaign for their support, Ministry of Education, Science, and Technological Development, Microsoft company, National Association of Parents and Teachers, Foundation \u201cPetlja\u201d, National Theatre in Ni\u0161, and the City of Ni\u0161, on behalf of which the audience was greeted by the Secretary of the Secretariat for Education Marina Kosti\u0107.<\/p>\n
The programme was carried out for the pupils, their parents, and teachers, from five primary schools in Ni\u0161: \u201cCar Konstantin\u201d, \u201cSveti Sava\u201d, \u201cBranko Miljkovi\u0107\u201d, \u201cRadoje DOmanovi\u0107\u201d, and \u201c\u0106ele kula\u201d, and the schools were given magnet boards for the use in teaching. <\/p>\n
Within the programme which apart from the audience in Ni\u0161 was directly watched by more than 400 primary schools via the link www.youtube.com\/watch?v=ORIWQAiuWyY, there was an educational interactive presentation for children, performed by actors Brankica Sebastijanovi\u0107, Vu\u010di\u0107 Perovi\u0107, and Predrag Vasi\u0107, after which two digital workshops were conducted for children and for parents. <\/p>\n
IT Caravan 03 is carried out for 26 schools, in five cities in Serbia: Belgrade, Novi Sad, Subotica, Ni\u0161, and Novi Pazar.
