<\/p>\nState Secretary in the Ministry of Trade, Tourism, and Telecommunications Tatjana Mati\u0107, has ceremoniously handed the awards to the winners of the competition \u201cArtisans of robotics\u201d, in the Research Station Petnica.<\/p>\n
Congratulating to the young robotics scientists, Ms Mati\u0107 has told them to use the knowledge they acquired in order to further develop their digital skills and keep up with the peers from the world.<\/p>\n

\u201cThe number of points they got is not as important as the precious experience they have had, the socialising you had during the weekend and learning about the Petnica\u2019s contents. Digital competences you have developed you could use in all scientific fields, but also in future professions, art, and in all life aspects\u201d, said State Secretary.<\/p>\n
She has reminded that the primary school pupils, participating in this programmes, were part of the campaign of IT Caravan for encouraging digital literacy and safety, but also part of the \u201cEuropean Code Week\u201d , celebrated this year from 7 to 22 October worldwide.<\/p>\n

Young robotics scientists were greeted by the director of the Research Station Vigor Maji\u0107, representative of Microsoft company Ivan \u017divkovi\u0107, and president of the EduLab Association which conducted and realised the competition programmes, Alen Piljak.<\/p>\n
The competition \u201cArtisans of robotics\u201d was held within the Robotics Week in Petnica, organised by Ministry of Trade, Tourism, and Telecommunications., which lasted until Friday, 20 October.<\/p>\n
In the course of four days of the programme, for primary school pupils there were workshops in robotics coding, Mine craft workshops, learning about Petnica, fun content as well as IT games without borders, film projections.<\/p>\n
The winners of the robot coding competition are awarded with the vouchers for participation in the FIRST lego leagues, competition in robotics international in character, and all participants received the awards from the Ministry of Trade, Tourism, and Telecommunications and Microsoft company.<\/p>\n

The \u201cRobotics Week\u201d was participated by the primary school pupils from Novi Pazar, Pirot, Ni\u0161, Zaje\u010dar, Kraljevo, \u010ca\u010dak, Valjevo, Kragujevac, Subotica, Novi Sad, Sombor for whom in the period from April to June, presentations on safe use of new technologies and robotics workshops were organised within the campaign of IT Caravan 02 of the Ministry of Trade, Tourism, and Telecommunications.<\/p>\n
With the Robotic Week the Ministry of Trade, Tourism, and Telecommunications has joined the European Code Week, the initiative of the European Digital Agenda, within which Serbia was number seven among 50 participating countries when it comes to the number of events, which is 302 in total.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
