{"id":24695,"date":"2017-02-08T14:42:46","date_gmt":"2017-02-08T12:42:46","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/mtt.gov.rs\/?p=24695"},"modified":"2017-02-17T10:42:18","modified_gmt":"2017-02-17T08:42:18","slug":"ljajic-in-the-case-of-cefta-the-economy-prevailed-over-politics","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/arhiva.mtt.gov.rs\/en\/releases-and-announcements\/ljajic-in-the-case-of-cefta-the-economy-prevailed-over-politics\/","title":{"rendered":"Ljaji\u0107: In the case of CEFTA, the economy prevailed over politics"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Trade, Tourism and Telecommunications Rasim Ljaji\u0107 has said early today that the Central Europe Free-Trade Agreement (CEFTA) is one of rare successful regional initiatives with visible results in the past 10 years.<\/p>\n<p>CEFTA countries are the second foreign trade partner of Serbia, after the EU, and with the CEFTA member states Serbia has the surplus of \u20ac2.1 billion.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" src=\"http:\/\/mtt.gov.rs\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/02\/Tan2017-2-8_11127187_02.jpg\" alt=\"\u0409\u0430\u0458\u0438\u045b: \u0423 \u0441\u043b\u0443\u0447\u0430\u0458\u0443 CEFTA \u0435\u043a\u043e\u043d\u043e\u043c\u0438\u0458\u0430 \u0458\u0435 \u0438\u0448\u043b\u0430 \u0438\u0441\u043f\u0440\u0435\u0434 \u043f\u043e\u043b\u0438\u0442\u0438\u043a\u0435 \" \u0409\u0430\u0458\u0438\u045b: \u0423 \u0441\u043b\u0443\u0447\u0430\u0458\u0443 CEFTA \u0435\u043a\u043e\u043d\u043e\u043c\u0438\u0458\u0430 \u0458\u0435 \u0438\u0448\u043b\u0430 \u0438\u0441\u043f\u0440\u0435\u0434 \u043f\u043e\u043b\u0438\u0442\u0438\u043a\u0435 =\"Tan2017-2-8_11127187_0\" width=\"600\" height=\"404\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-24637\" srcset=\"https:\/\/arhiva.mtt.gov.rs\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/02\/Tan2017-2-8_11127187_02.jpg 600w, https:\/\/arhiva.mtt.gov.rs\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/02\/Tan2017-2-8_11127187_02-300x202.jpg 300w, https:\/\/arhiva.mtt.gov.rs\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/02\/Tan2017-2-8_11127187_02-446x300.jpg 446w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 600px) 100vw, 600px\" \/><\/p>\n<p>At the conference \u201cTen years of implementation of CEFTA Agreement: results and challenges\u201d, Mr Ljaji\u0107 has said that the reason of success is the prevalence of economy over politics.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cIn this case the economy took the primary way and the politics didn\u2019t\u201d, Mr Ljaji\u0107 underlined, assessing that CEFTA is of great importance for Serbia, since our country exports more to the CEFTA countries rather than to Russia, China and the USA combined.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cFor example, we export two and a half times more in Macedonia than in the USA\u201d, Mr Ljaji\u0107 has noted.<\/p>\n<p>Head of the EU Delegation to Serbia Michael Davenport has wished Serbia a successful presidency of that organisation in 2017, pointing out that Serbia will have the support of all CEFTA member states.<\/p>\n<p>President of the Serbian Chamber of Commerce Marko \u010cade\u017e, saying that it is correct that we have the best cooperation with the countries in the region we used to fight with, and not only with the countries we traditionally consider to be our best friends, has asked the politicians to think twice before giving bombastic speeches because it might have negative impacts on the economy, citizens, and to always be responsible and have objectives to increase the life of the population<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Trade, Tourism and Telecommunications Rasim Ljaji\u0107 has said early today that the Central Europe Free-Trade Agreement (CEFTA) is one of rare successful regional initiatives with visible results in the past 10 years.
