State Secretary of the Ministry of Trade, Tourism and Telecommunications Tatjana Mati\u0107 awarded today awards and prizes to the participants in the Serbian Physics Olympiad and electoral competition for elementary school students at the Faculty of Physics in Belgrade, which was organized by the Society of Physicists of Serbia.<\/p>\n

The electoral competition is the highest level of competition organized by the Society of Physicists of Serbia and it is preceded by the Serbian Physics Olympiad. The most successful contestants in the electoral competition will be selected for the Olympic Team which will represent Serbia at the International Physics Olympiad in South Korea.<\/p>\n

In the last year\u2019s competition for the allocation of funds for the programs in the field of development of the information society, the Ministry of Trade, Tourism and Telecommunications supported the project of the Society of Physicists of Serbia which achieved a result in the form of winning a gold medal at the International Physics Olympiad held in Argentina.<\/p>\n

\u201cThe result that we achieved last year was a strong enough motive to continue our successful cooperation this year as well\u201d Tatjana Mati\u0107 said.<\/p>\n

The State Secretary congratulated the students on their success and wished them success in the forthcoming international competition and in achieving top results.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
