The 2nd Serbian Women\u2019s Business Forum \u201cTrust the Women\u201d was organized by TGI Group International, on Friday, February 20, 2015, at the Metropol Palace hotel in Belgrade.<\/p>\n

State Secretary Tatjana Mati\u0107, gave a keynote speech on “Female Leaders: Strategies for success in the workplace.” Speaking about strategies for success in the workplace from the perspective of women leaders, Mati\u0107 pointed out the differences in leadership styles between men and women in terms of their attitudes and behaviors in the workplace, noting that these differences are a key feature that contributes to the increasing success of the organization.<\/p>\n

\u201cWomen\u2019s leadership is oriented towards the employees, creating a supportive work environment, individual motivation, innovation and change,\u201d said Mati\u0107, stressing the importance and necessity of having women in leadership positions, and the equal importance of respecting the attitudes and opinions of women in decision-making processes.<\/p>\n

\u201cThe business environment is a challenge for women in achieving better positions, demonstrating and proving their knowledge and skills in business. Nowadays, young people seeking employment face many challenges and obstacles. Sure it takes a lot of strength and endurance to survive in the business world, but more is needed to return to work after dealing with difficult life circumstances. Choosing a faster way and taking more obligations may lead to the alleviation and elimination of gender differences in the workplace through the support, cooperation, creativity, competition and the achievement of equal opportunities for all\u201d \u2013 said the organizers.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
