Serbian Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Trade, Tourism and Telecommunications Rasim Ljaji\u0107 and the owner of the Turkish company “Pamirco”, which is engaged in wood processing, visited \u0160abac today, where they talked with the local government representatives about starting work and expanding production, as well as about the opportunities offered by the City of \u0160abac.
\n“As we announced, Turkish investors are coming one after the other. Our job is to facilitate the administrative procedures and production in the \u0160abac Free Zone could start in about thirty days. Initially, 40 workers will be hired, while in the next two years we can expect the employment of 400 workers” said Ljaji\u0107.<\/p>\n

In the first year, the value of the investment will be one million euros, said Ljaji\u0107.<\/p>\n

The Mayor of \u0160abac, Neboj\u0161a Zelenovi\u0107 reminded that \u0160abac has a freight transportation center \u201cRobno-transportni centar \u0160abac\u201d where the production area occupies over 13,000 square meters, which is very interesting for investors. He said that this is exactly what attracted the owner of “Pamirco”.<\/p>\n

“\u0160abac has an excellent position in relation to forests in Bosnia, Croatia and Vojvodina, and its proximity to the highway gives it advantage over many cities. The investor from Turkey will operate within the freight transportation center, located in the free zone, which means easier import and export of goods with which it supplies the EU market,” said Zelenovi\u0107.<\/p>\n

This company is ranked second in the Europe for the production of pellets, wooden sleepers for railways and pallets, said the mayor of \u0160abac and thanked the Government of Serbia for their help and cooperation.<\/p>\n

The investor explained that their current operations in Romania require expansion and that they found raw materials in Serbia, adding that \u0160abac stood out because of the numerous advantages it offered.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
