{"id":11448,"date":"2014-06-25T15:40:47","date_gmt":"2014-06-25T13:40:47","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/mtt.gov.rs\/?p=11448"},"modified":"2014-06-26T11:08:25","modified_gmt":"2014-06-26T09:08:25","slug":"ljajic-economic-development-should-be-based-on-the-it-sector","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/arhiva.mtt.gov.rs\/en\/releases-and-announcements\/ljajic-economic-development-should-be-based-on-the-it-sector\/","title":{"rendered":"Ljaji\u0107: Economic development should be based on the IT sector"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Trade, Tourism and Telecommunications Rasim Ljaji\u0107 said today that last year the IT companies in Serbia exported software valued at 250 million euros, which is an increase of 30 percent compared to the year 2012, but that the potential of the industry is much greater and reaches 450 million euros.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/mtt.gov.rs\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/06\/asseco.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" class=\"aligncenter  wp-image-11407\" title=\"asseco\" src=\"http:\/\/mtt.gov.rs\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/06\/asseco.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"509\" height=\"343\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>He said that Serbia needs to increase investment in science, which currently makes for 0.3 percent of the gross domestic product (GDP), and that it should be a pillar for the development of the country.<\/p>\n<p>Deputy Prime Minister Ljaji\u0107 attended the presentation of the ASEPA program in the company ASSECO. The ASEPA program was declared \u201cmost innovative software\u201d at the ICT Fair in Las Vegas.
